Hometown Resturant

Last Sunday, big brother Sam treated us to an American Buffet "Hometown". There were lots of people waiting in line when we arrived there. About fifteen minutes later, a waitress led us to a table. Sam introduced his girlfriend to us first. Then we took the food by ourself. We were talking each othrer and enjoying the food. I liked to eat the fried chicken and the salads, however, the fruits were not good. Anyway, thanks for Sam's treatment.

How can I find a lawyer to rigister the start-up company

I am suffering one thing recently. That is, my boss in TW wants me to establish a new branch in CA. I don't understand the law here and my English isn't good enough to communicate with the administration department of the city and the CA state. I need a lawyer who can speak Chinese to help me rigister the start-up company. However, he must be trusted. Although there are many lawers listing on the Internet. I am afraid this thing can not succeed even I pay the fee. It's difficult, how can I avoid they lie me?

Driving Test

I had an appointment of DMV driving exam at 1:00 PM yesterday afternoon. My friend and I arrived DMV about 12:10 PM. Then I practiced the car driving around the road near DMV. After thirty minutes, I got back to DMV and entered to the building. First, I had to tell the staff man to confirm that I could test. Five minutes later, the staff man told me to drive the car into waiting line. An old woman falled down in front of my previous car when I was waiting for the examiner. Her face got hurt and ran much blood. Some people went to around her to check how to help her. However, we did not know how to stop her face running blood. At last, one person entered into the office to tell the officier. Five minutes later, the ambulance came to take her to hospital. Then the examiner came to my car and asked me to do some actions such as hand signals, foot brake and emergency brake etc. After doing this actions, the examiner asked me to drive away from DMV to road. After five minutes later, she asked me to drive back to DMV. After parking already, she told me I did not pass the exam because I did not see the mirror and turn my head left back when I tried to drive away from curb. Is this really the curse of Taiwanese?

CATS

Most people like pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits and mini pigs etc. I liked cats in my childhood. I remembered my first cat called Big X. Actually, it was small not big. I just hoped it could be big enough to catch mouses. However, it was gone before it grew big enough to catch mouses.

Several years later, I had another cat which looked like Garfield. The difference is it's color, gray. I especially like it's thenar which looked like very cute. Unfortunately, it escaped away from our home when I studied computer class and lived outside. Maybe it felt lonely and needed freedom. However, I still remembered it sometimes.

Although most people say dogs are more loyal than cats. However, I think cats are smarter than dogs. If I have to choose one, my choice still is "cat".

Baseball game in San Francisco

There was an important baseball game in San Francisco today. It was San Francisco GIANTS against New York YANKEE. Why I say it is important because I am a Taiwanese. And the pitcher WANG at YANKEE also comes from Taiwan.

There were nine people to went together. My friends, Henry, Kayo, Ken, Rios, Roger, Sam, WeiHey, my sister, Ruby, and me. Henry and WeiHey drove cars to take us there. About one hour later, we arrived the stadium AT&T Park.

There were thousands of people who have the same goal like us. Fortunately, we met a Taiwan family who had the flags. They gave us nine small flags and one big flag. We use them when we took pictures. We could see the pitcher WANG who practiced in the field because we got there early. I took WANG's pictures but I just shot his back.

It was an exciting game. Though at last YANKEE lost the game. But this was a wonderful experience too see the game because I could feel the player in front of me to play the ball.

My friend's birthday

Today is my Korean friend's birthday. We 11 persons went to Korean BBQ resturant to celebrate together. There are four Koreans, six Taiwanese and one Japanese. We enjoyed the food and drank some beer. Actually, I just drank one cup. I don't like to drink because of my face will get red even one cup. Anyway, after finishing the dinner, we went to one friend's house , sang a birthday's song and ate cakes... A nice night!!

My name is chien-chih chen and I come from Taiwan. I went to San Jose to study English at SJSU from this March.

I like cats from my childhood. But I can not have any here because it's not allowed to breed in the apartment.
